As the Season changes to Autumn, it feels like time to nurture and sustain. October brings golden falling leaves; World Mental Health day and our clocks go back; and Strictly is on TV. November brings foggy mornings, cosy nights in, Armistice Day, and this year lockdown 2; I hope that December brings crisp cold days and some seasonal cheer!
We are doing the hokey cokey with the Furlough scheme, ‘in out, shake it all about’! Job Retention 80%. 70%. 60%. Job Support ‘need to work a few hours’; and back to Job Retention Furlough at 80% phew! Seriously though it is challenging to navigate through, give me a shout if I can help.
I did some People Management Training with Poole Bay Holdings Management Ltd, just before lockdown 2. It was a really uplifting day and great to see a company investing in their managers. Let’s not forget to recognise and reward in whatever way we can, in challenging times it’s more important than ever to look after our managers, employees, and ourselves.
It’s so fulfilling for me to receive positive feedback too, as I really enjoy what I do… ‘good course’; ‘great examples’; ‘informative and to the point’; ‘good balance of group & individual participation’
Changing Seasons also brings new beginnings, so I will leave you with this thought… Many of you will know the SARAH change curve; Shock, Anger, Realisation/Resistance, Acceptance, Hope… Where are you now?
